Expect Attitude Community Guidelines

expect_attitude_community_guidelinesRespect The Expect Attitude Community

First, we’d like to start off and say we love hearing from everyone in the comments. We encourage feedback of any kind. The community guidelines we have set in place here are pretty simple to follow. We’re not asking for the kind of respect reserved for a mob boss, the elderly, or doctors. We simply mean don’t abuse the site. Every new community feature we add involves a certain level of trust. We trust you to be responsible, and most of our users respect that. We hope you’ll please be one of them.

Don’t Cross The Line

Here are some common-sense rules that will help you steer clear of trouble:

  • We encourage free speech and defend everyone’s right to express unpopular points of view. However we do not permit hate speech (speech which attacks or demeans a group based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, and sexual orientation/gender identity).
  • Things like predatory behavior, stalking, threats, harassment, intimidation, invading privacy, revealing other people’s personal information, and inciting others to commit violent acts are taken seriously. Anyone caught doing these things will be permanently banned from the site.
  • Everyone hates spam. It’s not okay to post any amount of untargeted, unwanted, or repetitive comments and private messages.
  • Abusing the comments will get you permanently banned. This includes posting images that contain non-tasteful nudity or are of a lewd or graphic nature.

These guidelines are in place for everyone here. Remember that this is your community! Treat it like you would treat your own house, and other members as you would a guest. Each and every user of Expect Attitude makes the site what it is, so don’t be afraid to get involved and have fun!
